Carian is the proud wife of Derreck, who is an Investment Developer and Entrepreneur and mother to Carrington, who is her inspiration for everything she does. 

A certified fitness instructor, Carian loves to approach life holistically. One of her first companies was Heavenly Bodies an all things fitness company to include personal training. This was an eye opening experience to realize heavenly bodies also included healthy skin. As Carian sought out to expand her services, she wanted to include massage therapy. While attending massage therapy school she thought about what product would work best on potential clients with skin conditions such as eczema. This began the start of something that has forever changed the skin care industry! 

Established in 2014, Carian officially became the creator and CEO of Taylor Made Sheas affectionately known as TMS. The concept of starting the business was truly birthed as she was making gifts for the amazing women in her life for Mother’s Day. Shea butter infused with essential oils is the basis for TMS. This creamy yet full coverage skin barrier and sealant is perfect for anyone who’s #GotSkin! 

As a mother to premature baby, Carian wanted to make sure that when she had the skin to skin contact with her daughter that nothing but organic or natural products was on her skin. To celebrate and honor her daughter, she named the kids line of fun scents called Sweetpea, which is one of the top selling sheas. Now Carian is passing on her creativity to her daughter who has her own line of products coming out. 

Carian is always in the “lab” better known as her kitchen creating and experimenting, which is her happy place! This is where she tries out all of her products which now includes over 40 sheabutter scents, including a Men’s line, bath and shower products, and medicinal products to help with sinuses, migraines and more! TMS has something for every part of your body from hair to toes! There’s nothing left out from bath to body. 

Carian is available for consultations to assess how a personal or health concern can be addressed and she creates a product Taylor Made just for your need! 

In June of 2021 Carian started another business with her business partner Amanda Farner, Butterflies & Bumblebees Craftery. Affectionately known as her Sista Company which handles non-skin products. As a busy wife and mother BBC allows Carian to use her creativity to develop products for people and pets. 

There is no limit to Carian’s creativity as she is always trying something new and using the background of her rich heritage and ancestry in which was gifted to her from generations past. 

All of this and more to come in the future is all a part of the expansion to Taylor Enterprises as she continues to build upon her personal mission statement to help everyone live healthy and happy lives!
